Who are we?

The Rieslinghaus was founded and built by my parents. My father loved the wines of the Mittelmosel, which are so unique.
Over decades he, together with my mother, made the ‘Weinhaus Porn” – as it was called then, a gathering place for wine-loving people from all over the world.
Hosting and introducing our visitors to the wine treasures from the region and inspiring them to get to know Riesling wine made him very happy. I grew up witnessing this and I take pride and pleasure running the Rieslinghaus in his spirit.
Like my father, I maintain close relationships with the winegrowers in our region, and I am always looking out for new talents while maintaining our relationship with the current well-known winegrowers. We offer you a unique selection of top wines from Mosel, Saar and Ruwer, which we can arrange to be delivered to your home. Or better still visit us! You can enjoy your stay in one of our eight individually designed rooms and experience the unique cultural landscape of the Mittelmosel!
